Industry program
During the festival, the Industry Program gathers the world’s documentary community to discuss the evolution of our industry, offering new perspectives, and building long-lasting connections. The extensive program of high-profile talks, presentations, matchmaking, and think tanks runs for six days, annually welcoming these filmmakers and professionals.
- Film Talks invites speakers to discuss and explore formal filmmaking elements, but also potentially touch upon broader psychological, societal, and philosophical questions of today.
- Industry Talks and Sessions reflect on current developments in the industry as well as covering larger trends and urgent discussions presented by experts in the field.
- Each year 13 delegations from all over the world attend IDFA bringing filmmakers to attend the festival to network and present their projects and finished documentaries.
- Within the Industry Program attending guests also have the opportunity to sign if for consultancies focusing on a different subject every day, such as handling film rights, impact producing, distribution, and much more.
- The Industry Program also offers a lot of space to attend meet ups and social events all aimed at creating the best networking possibilities.
