Club IDFA is the festival's business club and offers your company a unique opportunity to connect with relations, staff and prospects through film. Throughout the year, IDFA hosts exclusive business events for its business network, offering your company a unique opportunity to connect with fellow members and immerse yourself in the IDFA experience. During the festival, you'll gain access to exclusive privileges, and at The Documentary Pavilion, you can organize private screenings for your business partners or network year-round. Select a documentary from IDFA's archive that perfectly aligns with your event, ensuring a memorable and impactful experience.

At IDFA, we always give our documentaries the necessary context to spark real conversations. After each screening, we work with you to create a space where you can dive into discussions with the filmmaker, experts, or even people from your own team. This provides the chance to take your conversations in a new direction that help you connect on a deeper level and build stronger relationships. Support IDFA as a Club IDFA member and make a fundamental contribution to the largest and leading documentary festival in the world. Every year, 300 quality documentaries and new media projects are selected from over 4,000 entries. The majority of these documentaries have their world premiere at the festival, and IDFA serves as a crucial platform for selection for the biggest film awards. As such, IDFA has showcased two documentaries that later went on to win an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature.

To participate with 1 table for 10 people during the Club IDFA Dinner during the festival. The Club IDFA dinner includes a 3-course dinner and a film screening
An exclusive documentary screening, including the possibility to organize a talk at The Documentary Pavilion (max. 70 people)

In addition, every Club IDFA member receives:

Twice a year, you’ll receive an exclusive invitation to the IDFA Business Events, offering unparalleled opportunities to connect with our business network
60 complimentary tickets to film screenings during the festival, including access to the pre-sale for group bookings for staff and/or relations
Dedicated seat reservations for your groups in the movie theaters
Invitation to the grand opening of the festival in Carré (for 4 people)
A mention in various media publications of IDFA, including the program magazine (print-run 20.000 + digital publication De Volkskrant), the colophon of the VPRO bijlage and the website (more than 1.7 million unique visitors per year)

Club IDFA diner

Members of Club IDFA have the opportunity to attend the Club IDFA dinner with their own guests and relations. This fully catered package of a reception with drinks and bubbles, a luxurious 3-course dinner and film screening with Q&A offers the opportunity to experience the unique festival atmosphere in an exclusive way.  A table for 10 people is included in this proposal which can be filled with any 10 people you'd like to invite to this exclusive night.

Exclusive screening for relations

Members of Club IDFA have the chance to organize an exclusive film screening for their staff and/or relations during the year. In the beautiful Documentary Pavilion you can watch any documentary from the diverse IDFA catalogue, together with business associates and employees. Elevate the experience by adding a talk with the filmmaker or an expert ; offering insights that you can discuss with your invitees over over drinks or dinner at The Documentary Pavilion.

Technical costs, film rights and room rental are included. IDFA also advises on the composition of the program and helps with catering options.

Film Lecture workshop .

Members of Club IDFA Extended are able to organize an exclusive Film Lecture workshop, in Het Documentaire Paviljoen.

During the Film Lectures, inspiring excerpts from IDFA documentaries are selected to enrich the stories of your organisation or team and give different perspectives. Or invite relations to a session around a relevant theme or topic and thus increase the connection with your organisation. The leadership coaches of Filmlezingen are experts at facilitating in-depth conversations for a varied audience from junior employees to C-level relations.
